Job Description

We're seeking a Jr Graphic Designer with excellent attention to detail, conceptualisation and executional skills to join our internationally renowned design agency based in Shoreditch East London.

MCCGLC's creative, forward-thinking and strategic approach provides graphics for communication strategies that span brand creation/amplification, digital applications, impactful architectural/environmental spaces, print and integrated campaigns for our clients in multiple business sectors.

These include but are not limited to healthcare, technology, finance and consumer electronics. As a design agency we are driven, creative people blended together to provide a fusion of intelligent insight, imaginative ideas, exceptional implementation, and as a result, a compelling impact for our clients' brands and products.

About the Role:

As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll play a key role in our creative team, working on a diverse range of projects from concept development to final execution. You'll collaborate closely with senior designers, project managers, and clients to bring their visions to life through compelling visual designs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and production of graphics for events and exhibitions, including logos, signage, brochures, presentations, digital assets, and more.
  • Develop creative concepts and translate them into visually engaging designs that align with the client's brand identity and objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, provide feedback, and refine designs.
  • Prepare files for print and digital production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to technical specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and software to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive attitude, embracing new challenges and opportunities for growth.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a graphic design role.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Good understanding of print and digital design principles.
  • Proficiency in Gslides, PPT and Keynote.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design ideas and concepts.
  • A keen eye for detail, composition, typography, and colour theory.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A passion for creativity and a strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic team.
