Adam Blanshay Productions is seeking a full-time Production Coordinator. The production coordinator is a key member of the Adam Blanshay Productions staff. The successful applicant will be in responsible for administrative / creative processes and logistics of ABP.


The successful applicant will also be someone who can provide and maintain the right systems and industry practices to enable our theatre projects to progress accordingly as well as provide ongoing proficient administrative support, working closely with the ABP's producer, General Manager and accounts.

Production

  • To provide general daytoday administrative support for producer Adam Blanshay and the General Manager.
  • Diary Management schedule meetings and maintain shared appointment calendar.
  • Ensuring office supplies and equipment are updated and in stock.
  • Assisting with hires for events/rehearsals: room bookings, equipment hires, collating scripts and paperwork.
  • Assisting at ABP events: launches, readings, client socials, and press nights
  • Completing house seat orders.
  • Maintaining uptodate mailing lists and contact information for clients and subscribers.
  • Reading and evaluating script submissions.
  • Building eshots and newsletters for mailing lists and subscribers for upcoming events.
  • Updating the ABP website and social media platforms under management supervision.
  • Maintaining general investor, client and partner relations.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to the intern.
  • Upkeep of office administration, filing, and accounts and receipts through Xero.
Investment

  • Work closely with the producer and associate producer on commercial investment opportunities and raises. ABP is currently in the process of financing several projects internationally and you will be present at selective investment meetings to observe Adam's method, demeanour and technique when sourcing investment.
  • Follow up with the investors with the appropriate documentation.
  • Send out weekly investment reports.
  • Assist with the formulation of investment prospectuses for the shows we lead produce.
  • Draft submission documents before sending to investors pending producer approval.
  • Monitor and record receipt of pending and transferred funds.
  • Liaise with ABP staff to ensure paperwork is complete and investment funding is being tracked and correctly allocated.
  • Assist in sourcing Front Monies for the projects we are developing, learning the difference between front money raise and a general raise.
Contracts

  • Work closely with senior producers and contract artists, venues and subcontractors.
  • Assist in drafting and proofing contracts and investment documentation (subscriptions, contracts).
  • Review venue, artists and musician contracts on some touring productions.
  • Work closely with the producers to establish relevant licenses such as PRS.
Essential

  • 2 years experience in the theatre and arts sector, preferably with General Management/Productorial experience.


 Computer Literate
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook/Mail, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail (written and verbal).
Non-essential

  • Spoken and Written French Language/Translation Skills.
