Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 37.5 hrs per week) with options for flexible working

Salary: £22,622

About Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MERL)

The MERL Team at CAMFED monitors and evaluates the impact of our programs through comprehensive research and data analysis, providing valuable insights for program improvement. By leveraging robust data platforms and engaging stakeholders, we ensure our initiatives make a meaningful difference at both individual and systemic levels.

What's the role?

As a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting CAMFED's International MERL Team by delivering accurate data to various stakeholders. This dynamic position will involve collaborating closely with national MERL teams in Ghana, Malawi, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe, analyzing program data, and effectively communicating findings for both internal learning and external reporting.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Contribute to data analysis and reporting for program improvement
  • Support country MERL teams in database management
  • Aid in creating data collection forms and reports
  • Assist in producing MERL content for donor reports
  • Analyze and present quantitative data effectively
  • Conduct background research and literature reviews
  • Provide administrative assistance to the MERL team
  • Undertake additional tasks as delegated by the Head of MERL
