The overall purpose of the E&I Engineer is to maximise plantavailability by optimising and improving the reliability performanceand provide technical electrical and instrument engineering input toproblem solving activities.

â Complete detailed technical specification of plant electricalequipment and instrument repairs, ensuring that the repairs areplanned, approved and completed to the required standard including theselection of specialist service providers.

â Provide technical E&Iengineering support to the plant team and take an active role introubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
â Providetechnical E&I engineering support during PM events and outages toresolve emergent issues and technically specify emergent work.

âKeep up to date with latest technologies and reliability improvementtechniques and drive continuous improvement of the plant's reliabilityperformance by identifying and implementing improvement opportunitiesto achieve the current and future capacity, variable costs and productquality.

â Provide technical E&I engineering input to safetyreviews, safety committees, risk assessments and incidentinvestigations and complete appropriate actions arising fromthese.

â Ensuringadherence to the site engineering standards and promote a rightfirst-time approach.

â Ensure thorough E&I engineering assessmentof plant modifications so that any changes to technology, plantoperating and maintenance methods, plant equipment or staffing areevaluated appropriately to mitigate the engineering risks.


Job-Related work experience,Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
âExtensive experience in both HV and LV experience up to and including11 kV networks.
â Experienced in leading problem-solving teamsboth cross-functional and within Production, Engineering and Technicalfunctions (lead, coach, engage).
â Proven ability to think throughproblems, undertake appropriate analysis and take effectiveactions.
