Co-ordination of Medical Staffing
Support the Lead Clinician with various aspects of Medical Staffing as required: Recruitment; Occupational Health, HR
Provide HR with paperwork and budget agreement for ET panel with regard to medical staffing requirements and appointments to the department.
Organise appraisals with Senior Anaesthetists for the Lead Clinician, checking his diary and the Anaesthetists availability, ensuring suitable arrangements are made and booking suitable facilities.
Arrange mandatory and corporate Induction programmes for new Senior Anaesthetists, typing up necessary paperwork.
Alert and organise junior staff assessments at the appropriate time, liaising with Tutors. Co-ordinate Blocks and integrate into Rota to ensure conformance to Deanery standards.
To compile monthly manpower returns for the department and send to Payroll.
Maintain medical staff annual leave, study leave and sickness records with the use of spreadsheets and electronic Rota.
