Overview:
As a party host you are responsible for all parties. You are in charge of the bookings along with the reception team. You need to meet and great all parties upon arrival, and arrange their meals accordingly. You have a responsibility to keep in contact with the party organiser and assist with any issues or question. You are in charge of setting up the eating area/party room for each and every party. You will provide a professional and efficient service. You will also be required to wear the correct uniform, looking presentable at all times. You are to ensure the party runs smoothly and you represent the company and the product well.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all party bookings are correct before the party's arrival.
  • Sending out the correct information once you have booked in a party i.e. letter of confirmation, party invites, food menu etc.
  • Meeting and greeting all parties in a friendly and helpful manner.
  • You are the party's main point of contact during their visit, make sure you provide everything the party require and help with any queries they may have.
  • Report any complaints/comments/queries to management straight away if you cannot help with what is asked.
  • Ensure all party areas are clean and tidy.
  • Ensure the meal menus are handed in to the café to ensure they have enough time to prepare the food.
  • Wear correct uniform at all times. Taking time to look presentable and hygienic.
  • Ensure that all health & safety recommendations are adhered to.
  • Prepare and give out all Planet Ice party bags.
  • Give out all food to each party guest making sure you give them the correct food and drink that they asked for.
  • Ensure there is enough Planet Ice merchandise for all parties during the week ready for the weekend's parties.
  • Making sure that after every party you clean up the party area/tables used previously.
  • Provide a friendly and efficient service to every single party.
  • Ice skate with the birthday party,
  • If you can not skate you are enrolled for free on the learn to skate courses.

Job Type:
Zero hours contract

Pay:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour
