We are currently looking for a passionate Clinical Lead to join our dedicated team at Ledbury Nursing Home service in Ledbury, Herefordshire.

As a Clinical Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the onsite clinical operations, supporting the manager in supervising a large staff team to ensure top-notch care standards.

  • Be a key player in maintaining and enhancing our care principles, focusing on 'wellness, happiness, and kindness'.
  • Collaborate with the local community, GP's, and professionals to provide exceptional care that empowers residents to lead fulfilling lives.

Details about the Position:

  • Hourly Rate: £22.13 per hour
  • Hours: 39 hours per week
  • The role involves two 12-hour shifts on the floor, including alternate weekend shifts, and two 7.5 supernumery shifts per week.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership to ensure high-quality care within a safe environment
  • Lead the nursing team to deliver person-centred care that upholds dignity, privacy, and independence
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the smooth operation of nursing units and collaborate with health professionals
  • Accountability for implementing infection control measures
  • Act as a role model and maintain care standards in line with company policies
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff
  • Address complaints and drive culture change and employee engagement
  • Provide leadership in the absence of the Service Manager

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC Pin
  • Prior experience in a senior nursing role
  • Experience working with the elderly
  • Strong knowledge of person-centred care
  • Ability to assess residents' needs and create tailored care plans
  • Ensure high standards of care and resident wellbeing
