Dog walkers have the responsibility of ensuring all dogs have the absolute best day From nurturing and building confidence in young dogs to engaging the dogs in mentally stimulating walks and adventures while keeping them all safe.

Key Responsibilities
Engaging the dogs on walks to keep them safe and close while being attentive to their individual needs
Monitoring dog behaviour closely and disengaging unwanted behaviours
Positively reinforcing good behaviours and encouraging good on and off lead walking skills
Washing and towelling dogs at the end of the walk
Collecting and dropping off the dogs from their homes using your own vehicle
Picking up dog faeces
Taking photographs of the dogs to be sent to parents for their daily school report
Has knowledge, experience and confidence caring for and handling many dogs
Is happy working outdoors, most of the day, in all weather
Prides themselves on great customer service and is punctual
Is well presented, well-spoken and has confident communication skills
Can demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness
Has a current DBS check or is willing to attain one
Has flexibility with working hours/ days
Must be passionate about a career working with dogs and can demonstrate this
Must work well in a team as well as alone and be able multi-task
Has a full clean UK driving license
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary:
£8.00-£10.42 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
