Residential Asbestos Surveyor

Salary: £33,000 to £35,000

Location: Leicester

Penguin is excited to present an opening for a Residential Asbestos Surveyor at a leading Asbestos management company accredited by UKAS since 2003. The company is dedicated to offering comprehensive Asbestos Management Services.

This opportunity has arisen due to a recent 5-year contract secured with the Birmingham City Council. The role mainly involves conducting high-quality Asbestos Surveys at domestic sites in the city center.

If you prefer working close to home, this role is a perfect fit as the sites are closely situated. Occasionally, you may need to travel to locations like Middlesborough or Essex, but rest assured, the workload is evenly distributed among the team.


Key Responsibilities of a Residential Asbestos Surveyor:

  • Identifying asbestos-containing materials
  • Assessing the risk associated with asbestos-containing materials
  • Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Producing accurate and concise reports in a timely manner
  • Adhering to set deadlines
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • BHOS P402 qualification (Additional qualifications are a plus)
  • 1 to 4 years of relevant experience
  • Full UK driving license
  • Proficiency in software like Microsoft Teams
