We are seeking a reliable and motivated
Saturday
Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team at
Giovannis Italian Kitchen in Hamilton.

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, as well as assisting our chefs with various tasks.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Salary:
Up to £10.42 per hour, age dependant.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, clean, and sanitise kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Assist chefs with food preparation and plating when needed.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling materials in a responsible manner.
  • Keep storage areas organised and tidy.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Adhere to Food Safety Standards.

Requirements:

  • 8 hrs per week Saturdays only.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus but not required.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a fastpaced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to cover holidays.
