Mechanical Fitter

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year depending on experience

Location: Stafford

About the Company: Are you passionate about vehicles and their engines? This role as a Mechanical Fitter with a reputable company in Stafford offers you the opportunity to work on special purpose vehicles, including racing cars.

Responsibilities:

  • Stripping and assembling vehicles for specialized purposes
  • Performing tasks like replacing clutches and chain trimming
  • Conducting vehicle checks before modifications
  • Building and rebuilding engines, setting up suspensions, reconditioning parts, and preparing vehicles for the track and races

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Vehicle Technician
  • Ability to efficiently strip down and rebuild vehicles
  • High standards of workmanship
  • Solid knowledge of vehicles

Package:

  • Salary up to £35,000, based on experience
