  • Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties
  • Install, repair, and replace fixtures, appliances, and equipment
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with property managers and tenants to address maintenance concerns

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance person or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Skills:

  • Carpentry: Ability to perform basic carpentry tasks such as installing shelves, repairing cabinets, or building small structures.
  • Plumbing: Knowledge of plumbing systems, ability to fix leaks, replace faucets, or unclog drains.
  • Electrical: Basic understanding of electrical systems, ability to replace light fixtures, outlets, or switches.
  • Painting: Experience in painting walls, ceilings, or other surfaces.
  • Flooring: Familiarity with different types of flooring materials and ability to repair or install flooring.
  • Drywall: Skill in patching and repairing drywall.
  • HVAC: Basic knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks.

Salary:
£12.50 per hour
