Temporary Event Coordinator to organise two volunteering training events

Essential:
Must have experience with Ethnic minorities in Edinburgh.

Duties:

  • Plan, organize, and execute two volunteering training events.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide exceptional customer service
  • Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within the allocated budget
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, setup, and breakdown
  • Create detailed event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
  • Oversee event registration and ticketing processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all event requirements are met
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide excellent guest services throughout the event
  • Upsell additional services or products to enhance the event experience

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination within the third sector organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Fundraising experience is a plus
  • Exceptional time management abilities to prioritize tasks and handle lastminute changes
  • Proven track record in delivering highquality events that exceed client expectations
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances


With a generous payment of £
15 per hour, you'll have the opportunity to bring your vision to life within a limited timeframe.
