Responsibilities as a Surgical First Assistant:


  • Providing high-quality care to patients during their perioperative phase.
  • Supporting in managing and organizing care within the Operating Department.
  • Contributing to enhancing skills, knowledge, and quality improvement.
  • Promoting evidence-based best practices.
  • Ensuring safety measures for patients, relatives, visitors, and hospital staff.

Requirements:


  • NMC or HCPC registration.
  • ILS and mentorship qualifications.
  • GCSE Maths, English at grades A to C (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in PC usage.
  • Experience in customer care and acute healthcare settings.
  • Surgical First Assistant Certificate.
