Production Line Clearer/warehouse Operative

Purpose


The primary purpose of the role is to ensure that finished goods are relocated from the production line and scanned and stored into the correct location within the Warehouse.

The post holder will also be required to assist in warehouse duties as required, while ensuring they are carried out safely, efficiently and accurately.

Accountabilities

  • Clear the production line of finished goods, scanning and storing the material in the correct location within the Warehouse.
  • Relocate empty pallets from the Warehouse to the end of production line. Relocate pallets and rolls stored within the Warehouse to make space for new stock, scanning them into their new locations.
  • Keep a clean and safe working area at all times.
  • Prior to use, ensure that the Fork Lift Truck is checked and that the user log tag is signed and dated.
Warehouse duties as required, to include;

  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately and making sure items are securely protected against transit damage.
  • To check that the quality and packaging meet the required standards expected by the company and customer.
  • Unload inbound material for held stock. Scan the material before storing in the correct location in the Warehouse.
  • Unload inbound cross docking orders, and ensure all documentation is correct. Locate material to correct holding area.
  • Unload raw materials and locate to correct holding area in the raw materials warehouse, ensuring all documentation is correct.
  • Load outbound deliveries ensuring all items are checked against delivery notes before loading.
  • Assist customers when collecting materials.
  • Sort and pack recycle material ready for loading.
  • Cut rolls for customers, ensuring the correct length is cut, wrapped and labelled correctly.
  • Pack rolls upright for the international market.
