We have an opportunity for the key role of Admin Support / Typist in the Cardiology Department based at Ipswich Hospital.


We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team player to integrate with the current team and provide an efficient and effective administrative service.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the administration needed to support the running of this busy department is completed in a timely way within target timeframes.

Attention to detail is a must as are excellent communication skills, IT skills and the ability to prioritise and plan.

  • To support the team with administrative duties.
  • To ensure a high standard of administrative service is consistently delivered by undertaking all required tasks and activities on a daily basis.
  • To complete the typing of admin letters to a high standard for patient records.
  • To utilise the required technology / hospital systems including Big Hand / Evolve / Lorenzo and any other new technology or system(s) that are introduced and support other team members to do so to deliver an efficient administrative service
