This role will be within our Manpower and Crew Planning area.

As (Resource) Manpower Planning Executive - Crew Training, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining crew training plans and developing the resource plans to deliver the training.

Your rolewill cover requirements for both TUI Airways & TUI Fly Nordic.

Our Head Office location is Luton, but at TUI we believe that work is something you do, not somewhere you go so we are happy to consider a hybrid working model.

There will of course be occasions when it just makes sense to be in the office but we also provideflexibility around how and where you work to promote our inclusive approach.

We anticipate an average of 2 days per week will need to be based in the office.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead monthly handover meetings with the Crew Training team to provide a comprehensive training plan handover
  • Build and maintain the cabin crew initial training plan, ensuring that it is robust and efficient whilst considering facility and trainer limitations
  • Develop the training resource plan to deliver the Pilot training plan to budget, managing volume, changes and updating plans
  • Highlight risks, opportunities and recommendations to the NR Pilot & Cabin Crew Manpower planners
  • Create and maintain the CAT C pilot manpower plan in conjunction with senior stakeholders in Flight Operations, Commercial, and Operations
  • Ensure changes made to the training or establishment plans are both financially and commercially viable and effective
  • Undertake project work and provide input into adhoc activities across all areas of Manpower planning as required
  • Fully utilise all systems available to support and optimise the production of the programme
  • Build a strong communication channel within Manpower planning and key stakeholders to ensure that all relevant detail is communicated in an effective, timely manner
  • Ensure that a strong change control system is managed throughout the development of the programme
  • Represent Manpower Planning at any adhoc meetings as required
  • Identify and implement any changes to procedures, ensuring the team procedures handbook is amended accordingly
  • Participate in and support projects within Airline Operations or wider airline as required and undertake other reasonable requirements of the business in keeping with your role.

  • Effective collaboration and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative with the confidence to escalate incidents where appropriate
  • Previous Airline experience would be an advantage but not essential
