Job Title: Technical Coordinator at a Fast-Growing Food Packaging Manufacturer

Welcome to the team of a rapidly expanding Food packaging manufacturer in the Wincanton area We are looking for a skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the technical aspects of our operations.

As the Technical Coordinator, you will work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure that our company upholds the highest standards of food safety and quality. You will be the go-to person for all technical matters, collaborating with various departments to uphold and enhance our food safety practices.

Key responsibilities as a Technical Coordinator:

  • Ensure compliance with BRCGS Global standards and customer audits
  • Manage the company's complaint system efficiently
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Manage product specifications and liaise with customers through online portals
  • Cooperate with colleagues, Heads of Departments, and Directors to uphold food safety standards
  • Carry out quality control of traded goods

Assistant Technical Manager Key Skills:

  • Preferably educated to a degree level in a food science discipline
  • Proficient in BRCGS Food Safety Issue
  • Working knowledge of raw material & packaging specifications, factory technical management, retail customer requirements, hosting food safety audits, BRCGS, QMS, and HACCP
