An exciting opportunity has arisen to expand our current warehouse team at Eurofit Systems in Beverley.


Eurofit Systems is a forward thinking family run business providing furniture components and fixings for over 24 years to local and national manufacturers and also to the public through our ecommerce website Eurofit Direct.


The role of a warehouse operative is critical to the overall success of the warehouse operations and largely contributes towards the clear business strategy set for on going growth in this sector.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Warehouse Operative

  • Perform various warehouse tasks, including receiving incoming shipments, unloading containers, inspecting goods for damage and verifying quantities against delivery note and purchase orders.
  • Storing received items in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring accurate labelling and inventory management using our internal warehouse management barcoding system.
  • Picking orders accurately and efficiently according to pick lists or customer orders, using appropriate equipment safely such as pallet trucks and forklifts.
  • Pack orders securely and neatly for shipment, following packing guidelines and ensuring items are adequately protected for transit.
  • Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles.
  • Assist with regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify any discrepancies.
  • Delivering and maintaining KANBAN stocking levels on local customer sites.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers and customers to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Maintain high levels of housekeeping and order throughout the warehouse.
