Novalis Trust, is a charity that supports children and adults with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties and other learning needs. The cook position is based in one of the houses within the Trust, providing a homely and caring environment.

*Available opportunities:
*Cook at Cotswold Chine School, Minchinhampton (2 roles available)

  • 9am to 2.30pm, 39 weeks per year (Term Time Only).
  • One role involves cooking in a house group for a maximum of 12 people.
  • The second role involves cooking in a house group for a maximum of 8 people.
  • This role has an option to be 52 weeks, providing cover in the 13 weeks school holidays cleaning.
*Cook at Paradise House, Painswick** 9am to 2.30pm, 52 weeks of the year.

  • Cooking for house group of 12-16 people.
*Responsibilities for this role:
  • Following a set menu to provide lunchtime meals.
  • Cooking for a set number of people using fresh ingredients daily.

* £11.75 per hour

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 2:30pm
  • Equivalent of 5.6 weeks annual leave per year pro rata

*Requirements for this role are:
  • Self-Motivated, with the ability to work flexibly.
  • Competent cook who loves to make home cooked food.
  • No formal experience or qualifications are required.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen area.
