Hours:
Flexible, 16 hours per week alternating weeks Tuesday and Friday week 1 and Wednesday and Friday week 2 with possible overtime when required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises
- Help with PEG feeding, meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Help with use of BiPAP Ventilator
- Provide medication reminders when required
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant, caregiver, or similar role preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including transferring clients via hoist
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's license with no driving convictions
- A compassionate and patient demeanor
- English Speaking
