About the role

The suitable candidate must have experience in the field of Environmental Science or a related discipline and the confidence to deliver both theory and a practical experience to our students. We are looking for candidates who have experience of delivering in or wish to start delivering in Further and Tertiary Education up to SCQF level 7 and equivalent. You should also be flexible, reflective, innovative, creative, and personally committed to continuing vocational and professional development.

This role presents a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic person who enjoys teaching and learning to join an experienced and diverse team. You will be required to deliver curriculum in an innovative manner with a focus on best practice in the teaching of topics relevant to your role. You will be required to be an effective team member able to deliver a high-quality curriculum and educational experience.

You do not need to have a teaching qualification to apply as training will be provided, however some experience of instructing or teaching is welcome. You should possess effective interpersonal skills and have good IT skills in applications such as MS Office and other relevant subject related software packages.

Please note, the successful candidate will be subject to a PVG Disclosure Scotland and other background checks.
