Torpoint ltd has short & long term opportunities for General Operatives at various busy, medium to large scale construction sites in Blackburn.


As a General Operative you will be responsible for maintaining the house keeping on site facilitating the construction of a quality product whilst ensuring that the high standards of Health & Safety are adhered to at all times.


The duties of a General Operative include:

  • Site wide house keeping
  • General site work using hand tools
  • Maintaining clear and safe access to work areas
  • Assisting the site management in day to day duties
  • Lifting and repetitive work
  • Assisting other trades to complete their work
Hours of work are as follows

  • Monday
  • Thursday 07:30 16:00
  • Friday 07:30 15:00
Overtime is widely available.

On going training is available depending on performance.

All sites are close to local transport links, bus stations and train stations.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£8.85-£12.02 per hour
