Bingo Caller

We are currently recruiting for permanent talented Bingo Caller / General Assistant to work at our bingo club in Southampton.

You will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate about delivering excellent customer service and standards. We are looking for someone who is flexible and a team player.

Experience in calling bingo would be preferred however it is not essential as we will provide full training, we are looking more for someone who is open to learn and who would find it enjoyable presenting bingo in front of an audience.

The Role

• Meeting and greeting Customers
• Calling the bingo numbers and presenting the games
• Providing help and assistance to customers
• Selling Bingo Books/packages
• Giving change
• Checking claims on the bingo hall floor
• Serving/preparing food and beverages
• A willingness to call bingo once you have been fully trained in this area
• Any other duties to support the smooth running of the Club

The Person

• Customer service experience (ideally in bingo or in the hospitality/entertainment industry)
• Good communication skills
• Cash handling experience
• A good work ethos:
• Are you happy to help out and go the extra mile
• Punctual
• Hard working
• And have a smart appearance

Hours

This is a permanent full time position approx 35hrs per week.

We operate a fully flexible working pattern over 7 days and our main bingo sessions tend to be evenings from around 6:00pm with afternoon working usually between 12am and 3:00pm.

With many bingo clubs closed through the pandemic Leo Leisure has actually expanded We opened a new club in Weymouth in 2021 and now a brand-new club on the High Street in Southampton August last year.
