Job Summary:
Please note, this is not a full time position and can range from 1 day to 5 days per week depending on the Client's requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Plan delivery routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Carry out routine vehicle checks and report any defects to the appropriate person
- Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- A valid 7.5t driving license
- A valid CPC qualification and Digi Tacho card
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
