Our client is seeking a talented Principal Landscape Architect to join their dynamic team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects that streams directly from the Planning team, and aims to provide comprehensive Landscape Architectural services.

Currently there is a particular focus on exciting Quarry Restoration projects; You can expect to have plenty of WFH flexibility, and to be acting as the leader of a small team, with plenty of support and autonomy available from other departments and the MD.


Project Management:
Lead and manage projects, overseeing workloads, scheduling, and coordination with the Draughtsperson and specialist sub-consultants.

Proposal and Budget Management:
Develop project briefs and fee proposals, monitor project expenses, and ensure financial efficiency.

Contract Administration:
Prepare Specifications, Bills of Quantities, Contract Drawings, and manage the implementation of landscape works.

Landscape Design:
Execute high-quality landscape design tasks.
Prepare comprehensive reports, including Landscape and Visual Assessments, and coordinate Environmental Impact Assessments.

Landscape Management Plans:
Develop and implement effective Landscape Management Plans.
Guide and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth.

Professional Development:
Engage in continuous training and professional development relevant to the role.
Degree and/or Masters in Landscape Architecture.
Qualified as a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute.
At least 5 years post-chartership experience in the public or private sector.
Full driving licence and use of own car.
Private Healthcare.
