This company has a proven track record of adapting to changes in the industry, building strong relationships with clients and contractors, and expanding their services from modest beginnings to become a thriving multi-service firm. As part of their continued growth, the company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join their team.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, management, and safe delivery of issued projects. The Project Engineer will follow all company project management and QHSE procedures and processes along with client requirements.

Key Objectives of the Role

  • out project engineering requirements as per company project management manual AES-MAN-0001
  • (Estimate where required), Schedule, Coordinate, and manage project activities and progress as detailed in the department IMS process.
  • with clients and interpret their requirements.
  • technical guidance and solutions.
  • the planning and implementation of the project and ensure its quality and success.
  • project management with monitoring project cost control and ensuring on budget delivery.
  • and execution of project plans.
  • and management of requests and requirements for sub-contract work scopes.

Experience Required

  • Management of own duties & priorities
  • experience as a project engineer within the oil & gas, thermal, nuclear or renewables sector.
  • to communicate with stakeholders in a clear, concise & respectful manner.
  • skills including Word, Excel, office and project.
  • with technical specifications and QHSE processes.
  • & clean UK driving license.
  • standards of workmanship
  • to react, work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • to coach team members to achieve and maintain company standards
  • lead and problem solve

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced project engineer with a track record of project delivery with the oil and gas, thermal, nuclear or renewables industry.

This role will be based in Huntly.This is a full-time position offering an attractive salary plus benefits.
