gap personnel are currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers for a client based in Bridgwater.

  • A valid Forklift ticket required (Reach or Counterbalance)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience required
Working within the warehouse you will be responsible for:

  • To receive, put away, pack and despatch pallets of goods (ambient).
  • To wrap, palletise and conduct quality control checks.
  • To report any damaged stock to team leader.
  • To spot and report any hazards and near misses in the warehouse.
  • To undertake regular and ad hoc stock checks.
  • To ensure good standard of general housekeeping within the warehouse.
  • Have a valid Counterbalance Forklift ticket, and 2 years of experience driving the truck.
  • Be comfortable working at a fast pace.
  • Always keep a clean and safe working area.
  • Be comfortable completing paperwork.
  • Will abide by health and safety rules.

The Pay & Working Hours:
Shift Pattern: 4 on (2 days 6.00am - 6.00pm, 2 nights 6.00pm - 6.00am), 4 off

Day rate:
£10.43ph

Night rate:
£11.22ph

Overtime:
£16.83ph
