London, Greater London, United Kingdom Impero Full time

We're an independent, award-winning creative agency.

We work with high-profile, global brands such as George at ASDA, Estee Lauder, Chivas, First Choice, Paco Rabanne, Nike and a bunch of others.

We're pretty good at what we do. We've won multiple Agency of The Year(s) including Campaigns Global Integrated Agency of the Year and The Drum DADI Agency of the Year. We were also shortlisted as Campaign Independent Agency of the Year and for two years running, made it onto Campaign Magazine's 100 best places to work. We were awarded a Silver Arrow at the British Arrows Awards 2022.

This year we have our sights set on a D&AD and/or Cannes Lion.

There are about 40 of us (not including the dogs) — but that number grows all the time because we're still young, ambitious and do great work.

We're also 70% female with a 50/50 gender split on the senior team. We proudly have 100% pay parity, and it kind of annoys us that we even have to mention that as something unique within this industry.

We gladly do things differently. We're super ambitious, brutally honest and always deliver.

We don't like the 'Old Guard' of advertising. This is an agency that uses passion, ingenuity, and an anything-is-possible attitude to deliver work across all kinds of platforms. It's one of the reasons why working here is a hell of a lot of fun. Everything's to play for.

Not surprisingly, this is a growing agency, so we're looking for a Traffic, Resource & Studio Manager who wants to be part of and help drive that growth.

The role →

This is a dual role within the People Operations Team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day traffic/resource management of the agency's workflow and the running of the agency studio space.

The core part of this role is to manage all resourcing duties. This includes hosting resource meetings across the business, headhunting freelancers, casting our internal team and managing timesheets.

You'll ensure the smooth and efficient running of the studio. This includes ensuring tech is working efficiently, and the upkeep of the office environment. You will also assist with social event planning.

You are hungry to learn more about operations/HR and will assist with traditional HR activities such as onboarding and offboarding employees.

You will also assist our Head of New Biz with PR/Fame driving activities in the agency, and be on hand to help out from an administrative perspective when we are pitching for new business.

  • Champion the Agency's resource process, including internal and PR projects.
  • Day-to-day management of the incoming resource requests across all departments.
  • Management of the freelance network at Impero, working closely with the hiring manager.
  • Assist with the freelance budget and forecast.
  • Forecasting resource needs across the agency.
  • Lead weekly scheduling meetings and ad-hoc stand-up meetings.
  • Champion of the internal project management system, Scoro.
  • Timesheet tracking, ensuring staff keep these updated and accurate every week.
  • Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the studio by leading all office management tasks.
  • Ensure the smooth running of all pitch admin.
  • Collaboratively work with the outsourced IT providers to ensure our products and tech are running efficiently.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding for permanent and freelance staff.
  • Work with a team to organise Impero's seasonal social events and smaller quarterly events.
  • Be a core part of the Impero Fame team by assisting with updates to our social media accounts, website and awards.
  • Work closely with our Head of New Business managing status sheets, and liaising with prospective clients.
Types of people we'd like to meet: →
  • 2+ years of experience in an agency.
  • Experience working with Project Management systems, such as Scoro.
  • Approachable but assertive.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Good understanding of the agency process, including the different roles within an agency.
  • Has bags of initiative and drive.
The perks of working at The Mighty Impero include:
  • Being part of something special — this is an exciting growing agency with no board of directors, or shareholders to report to.
  • Opportunity to Opt into our Health Insurance.
  • Life Assurance and Income Protection.
  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity policy.
  • Hybrid working (3 days) which includes a 'Work From Abroad' policy.
  • The ability to stamp your mark on an organisation – not just be a cog in the machine.
  • Seasonal company parties.
  • Summer hours in July and August.
  • Annual personal development plan and training budget for your growth.
  • A 'yes work's important, but let's not get too serious' vibe.
  • A distinct lack of bureaucracy or politics.
  • Ownership over your projects whilst enjoying an inclusive environment.
Final word: →

The People Operations team's goal is to connect all departments. We ensure the people of the agency are working towards the same goal which is to create a world famous agency.

We maximise the potential of our people and have a wide, holistic view of the business and use our knowledge to make decisions that are effective for the growth of the Agency.

We run the Agency Operations with excellence to ensure our people can deliver the boldest award-winning work possible.

Above all, we embody our core values and never let our team down.

This is an awesome place to work. We're in control of our destiny. But it means we're the only ones that can deliver it. We're all massively ambitious and hard working. But it's also fun.

We all get along, there's no politics, just heaps of passion. We're the creative industry's new guard. And it's awesome.

If you feel this is the role for you, please get in touch via with Traffic, Resource & Studio Manager as the subject line. Don't forget to include your salary expectations.

NO Agencies please – we already work with loads.

*We receive so many wonderful applications that we can't respond to everyone so thank you in advance for your application.
