Job purpose:


Responsible for supporting content creation and delivery within the Marketing department, developing content across a variety of media including trailers, sizzle reels, clips, gifs, interviews, vox pops and other branded content.


Working with the Senior Marketing Manager and Editor - Content & Distribution to conceptualise content for marketing purposes including trailers and assisting in the creation of new and interesting content across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and other networks hosting video.

Liaising with the the content team for requirements across Production - where editing may be required for newly created content such as interviews with critics, cast and crew.

Supporting the Editor - Content & Distribution across various functions within the marketing department as required such as image creation, social media and general ad hoc assistance

Previous experience of editing film related content across all platforms across multiple territories, is highly desired.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with our Editor
  • Content & Distribution key stakeholders to plan out projects and the desired approach.
  • Creating video assets in multiple formats to cover the whole release lifecycle including theatrical, home entertainment, digital and organic and paid social campaigns.
  • Developing bespoke content for international festivals and events and SVOD services
  • Assist in production workflows for Value Added Content (VAM) created in house such as interviews with critics/cast/crew when required
  • Working with key departmental stakeholders to ensure all content is supplied in created in the correct format and presentation for finalised videos, including external QC where necessary
  • Adapting existing assets and or clips and snippets for social, PR and marketing purposes
  • Ad hoc assistance across marketing departments including Club Cinema initiative, events, social media and general marketing duties.
  • Considering brand voice and marketing requirements on all content.
  • Experimenting with new techniques and trends to keep content fresh and engaging

Qualifications & experience required:

  • Proficient in editing and content creation software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro.
  • Demonstrable experience in editing engaging video content
  • Strong understanding of the production workflow
  • Experience editing various video projects
  • Interest and awareness of social media platforms
