A Medical practice with a rapidly growing portfolio of practices on the horizon require an experienced Bookkeeper to support them with their growth at their Gateshead premises.
Working alongside the business owners and finance lead you will be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, managing income and spend within the business and supporting with the delivery of monthly management accounts.
With your experience you will be required to help set up financial systems and processes across the business and monitor these on a regular basis.
Your Key responsibilities will be:
- Preparing reports on income
- Reviewing monthly spend and all incoming invoices
- Working with suppliers to ensure the business is securing the best products and the best prices
- Monitoring budgets
- Keeping the finance software accurate and up to date
- Monthly management accounts reporting using Xero
- Payroll/HMRC reporting
- Monthly financial P&L reporting and KPI analysis
- This is an exciting time to join the business as they achieve further expansion and look to implement a more robust finance system and set of processes. For those that like to make an impact and get involve din decision making this role offers just that.
Whilst health sector experience would be an advantage it is not essential, we are looking for an easy-going, experienced Bookkeeper with strong communication, organisation and presentation skills.
