Weare looking for a Purification Scientist to join our peptideproduction site.

Role andResponsibilities

  • Reverse-PhaseHPLC purification of peptides and peptidomimetics (mg to g scale)
  • Basic equipment maintenance (Agilent) and liaising withservice engineers.
  • Mass spectrometry analysis
  • Columntesting and maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and ability toembrace challenging purifications.

Must be able to handle several projects and multi-task, ensureprioritization and timely execution of the projects. Should beenthusiastic, analytically minded, very organized, detail orientatedand have excellent communication skills. This is not a researchposition; it is a fast-paced manufacturing role.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in anindustrial environment is essential
  • MSc or BSc in chemistryor analytical chemistry is required
  • Prior experience in HPLCanalysis/purification and Mass Spectrometry essential
  • Goodknowledge of key analytical and purification techniques – scientificcuriosity and drive
