As we grow, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team and oversee a diverse range of projects.


Job Description:

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site electrical work for refurbishment and installation projects in the commercial and healthcare sectors.

Your role is crucial in ensuring that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of Work: Oversee all on-site electrical activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the work of site electricians and subcontractors, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
  • Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations on-site, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments, and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and inspect electrical installations and refurbishments to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Resource Management: Manage on-site resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Client Interaction: Liaise with clients and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any on-site issues or concerns.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any on-site challenges promptly to minimize delays and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, daily logs, and safety documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar role within the commercial or healthcare sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or building services (e.g., HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent).
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., NICEIC, IET) is advantageous.
