Responsibilities

As an Aircraft Cleaner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working within a team to carry out night stop cleans including deep clean Removing rubbish from the aircraft and making sure that it is properly disposed of
  • General cleaning of offices and staff area Restocking of cleaning vehicles and equipment
  • Clean interior areas of aircraft cabin including removal of blankets, vacuuming carpets, wipe down equipment and surfaces
  • Replenish seat pockets with airline material as per customer specification
  • Clean lavatories, wash basins, surfaces, mirrors and replenish lavatory supplies
  • Clean and sanitise galleys including mopping floors
  • Arrange seat belts, placement of headrests, pillows and blankets
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times, especially when using equipment and PPE

Shift Patterns

You will work a shift pattern of 4 on 4 off (12hr shifts) and will need to be flexible working days or nights.

Person Specification

  • No experience is necessary, however ideally you would have commercial cleaning experience
  • Knowledge of cleaning materials, supplies and COSHH would be preferred
  • Good attention to detail and a meticulous approach to your work
  • Must be hardworking & reliable with an excellent work ethic

Requirements:

Due to the location of work being at the airport you must qualify.

Therefore, you will need to be able to provide the following information:

  • 5year checkable history (employment, selfemployment, education or benefit claim)
  • 5year UK address history
  • Eligibility to work in UK
  • Provide proof of NI
  • Provide proof of address dated within the last 3 months
