Head Fryer/supervisor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor/Fryer to join our family run, all year round Fish & Chip shop, located on the beautiful harbourside in Hayle, Cornwall.

This is a new role introduced to the business to take on the day to day running and development of the operation alongside the owners.

Role requirements include:

• Team management & motivation
• Frying
• Food preparation
• Stock taking
• Serving customers
• Boxing orders
• Preparing sauces
• Providing excellent customer service

You will be required to oversee and manage our team, deliver an excellent standard of food to the customer and make sure the premises are kept to a high standard of cleanliness at all times.

Experience in a fryer role is essential, we are looking for someone who is confident working alone and in a team environment and generates ideas to drive the business forward.

This position often requires daytime, evening and weekend work.

The role will be between 30-35 hours per week with extra hours available through the demanding summer months. Hourly pay dependant on age and experience.
