Are you a talented Interior Designer with a passion for creating exceptional spaces looking to step up your career?


We have an exciting opportunity to join the London team of an established studio, specialising in the D&B/Commercial Fit-out sector, as an Interior Designer.

The practice has a track record for delivering high quality CAT A & B, commercial fit out and technically complex projects ranging in value, they have achieved B Corp Certification, and are a stable studio who are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Workplace Futures Group - a 27 year old £100 million business.


This will be a fast paced and engaging role, suited for a designer who is looking to take on new challenges and have the opportunity to work on multiple projects and become an integral part of the business.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and project teams to craft innovative design concepts for commercial Cat A and Cat B projects.
  • Own your projects, overseeing them from design to tender/bid/pitch, ensuring successful completion.
  • Leverage your AutoCAD expertise to bring designs to life, working independently while receiving support from a senior designer.
  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple projects and confidently tackling onsite design challenges.
  • Coordinate with other trades, including M&E and joinery, to seamlessly integrate their expertise into the overall design.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • 24+ years of industry experience ideally on Design and Build projects / Commercial fitout.
  • Full proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Good technical knowledge and key understanding of current building regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, project teams, and trades.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Confident at multitasking between multiple projects.
  • Proactive on site problemsolving skills and a creative mindset.
  • Understanding of working with other specialisms/trades such as M&E/joinery.
