About The Role:


The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is responsible for ensuring that access for all Motability Operations (MO) employees and customers is correct and appropriate and that they can access what they need, when they need.

Within the IAM function, there is the IDaaS team responsible for customer identities, SSO and MFA and there is the IGA team which is responsible for internal employee access management and governance.

This role is leading the IGA team and reporting into the IAM Team Manager.

Role responsibilities:

  • Manage the daytoday activities of the IGA team and team development
  • Ensure regular recertifications are done to ensure users' access rights and privileges match those of the authorisation model; reconciling and resolving conflicts as required
  • Provide feedback and prepare proposals for IAM Manager on SML processes that could be beneficial
  • Monitor, validate and prioritise incoming work requests and allocate these tasks to team members
  • Assure delivery of the IGA project
  • Create and maintain IGA processes
  • Working alongside the project as a business and IAM SME to create new automated processes
  • Working closely with the business to define processes to ensure they meet current guidelines and are fit for purpose
  • Being a champion for IAM and Cyber Security, engaging with the business on IAM policies and ensuring they adhere to them
  • Execution and management of the Starter, Mover and Leaver (SML) process for permanent, temporary, Third Parties, and contract staff.
  • Management of time bound events, such as holiday cover, temporary access, testing, auditing and contractors
  • Creation and maintenance of RBAC's and Privileged Access Management across MO
  • Being the main point of contact for the IGA team
  • Mentoring and coaching the IGA team to develop skill sets
  • Being an escalation point for the business
  • Working alongside the Identity and Access Manager to create the IGA strategy and to execute this

About You:

You will have gained the following skills/experience:

  • Experience in providing identity and access security guidance, assurance, and technical consultancy
  • Experience managing an IAM team
  • Thought leader to the broader IAM team for identity and access security
  • Good technical knowledge and experience across Microsoft platforms and identity technologies. (e.g. Azure, SailPoint, Saviynt)
  • Experience in identifying, recommending and implementing appropriate mitigating controls for identity and access risks or noncompliances
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and willingness to proactively share knowledge for identity and access across the business
  • Selfstarter with desire to continue to learn/improve security knowledge and expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to appreciate customer perspective.
  • Flexible and able to prioritise multiple activities while working at pace
