A secondary school in Kirkham is seeking to hire a full-time Maths Teacher who can start on September 3rd, 2024.

The successful Maths Teacher will collaborate with an accomplished Maths department that is continually improving, as well as a school that is committed to raising standards for behavior and academic performance.


The successful Maths Teacher will have great classroom management skills, be able to handle difficult behavior situations, and be comfortable with students who are exhibiting SEMH.

High standards of teaching and learning
Nationally recognised teaching qualification
Able to show evidence of the use of technology in teaching and learning
Be flexible and responsive to a changing educational environment
Contribute to whole school initiatives
Committed to working co-operatively with young people; Able to communicate effectively with parents to represent the school positively and feedback information as appropriate
Willing to contribute to the professional development
