To support the Admin and customer services Manager providing customer service to all new and existing clients, taking transport and freight bookings from clients, providing costs, uploading jobs onto the system, update clients on their deliveries, takingnew bookings and updating the systems, booking couriers, dealing with questions and queries and providing general customer services both inbound and outbound calls.
ROLE:
Customer Service Booking Advisor
LOCATION:
Berkhamsted
BASIC SALARY:
£20k to £25k
ROLE:
Creating daily POD reports in Excel and forwarding them to our clients
Importing data to our database from Excel spreadsheets
Answering calls to both suppliers and clients, taking messages, transferring calls to the correct person
Taking phone calls from clients, taking their parcel or logistics bookings, providing costings, adding to the system.
Arranging transport for the clients goods.
Dealing with drivers at the end of each day
Ensuring clients goods go out for delivery or export at the end of the day.
May be some account management as well, contacting your clients to see how they are and if they require any deliveries, etc
Checking incoming invoices and assigning the costs to bookings
Filing
Labeling parcels
On the job training will be provided
Being involved in groups on LinkedIn
