Location:

We work in a hybrid model but love to meet as a Team face to face in Ashford or Kent regularly and certainly on a Monday.

Other travel around the UK (and potentially outside the UK) is possible.

As the People & Culture Consultant, your role is to cocreate people related initiatives for our existing, and future, clients; understanding the future of the world of work and identifying innovative ideas for us to delight our clients with.

Key Outputs

  • Our work comes in the following forms: Working with clients to deliver highimpact people projects to shift the dial on their employee experience, delivery of learning or coaching experiences and working on a retainer or fractional basis as Chief People Officers or a People Team in their pocket.
  • Delighting our clients with high impact people initiatives that are creative, bespoke and relevant to the maturity and capacity of the organisation.
  • Actively supporting Business Development, including networking on behalf of the business to grow our client base and discover opportunities, with a view to landing and owning your own clients.
  • Preparing and communicating proposals to new clients; reflecting their needs, our solutions and how we will work together.
  • Project plans are detailed, on track and monitored so that the Client and SI team are delivering high quality work, on time, to budget.
  • Great relationships are built with our clients and we communicate well to ensure they are fully informed of upcoming or outstanding deadlines to ensure projects are successful.
  • Contribution and cocreation as a Start Inspiring core team to the strategy and direction of the Start Inspiring business. This is

Key Responsibilities

Delivery


Deliver high quality work based on the agreed proposal, working closely with the Client to ensure they are happy with the content and the way the project is running.


Relationship Management
Building relationships and working with clients, our internal team and our associates is key to our success.

This helps us to successfully co-create strategies and initiatives together, which enables the organisation to deliver high-impact people plans and delight the customer.


Internal (SI team) and external (client) stakeholders are kept well informed, understand and can see the impact projects are delivering and feel your communication is clear, regular and manages expectations.


Business Development


A willingness to develop further business, create new relationships with potential clients and attend networking events, with the purpose of identifying warm leads and landing new business.


Knowledge


Up-to-date knowledge of relevant Employment Law Legislation, best practice approaches across the entire employee experience; Engagement, Onboarding, Offboarding, Salary and Benefits, HR systems, Attraction, Retention, Development, and Performance.

Create product
Further develop people related content based on client demand.

Create tools, templates and products across the People and Culture specialism for clients. Collaborate across the team to create new products based on external needs.

Building a community
Further develop our growing community to build our client base and impact in the people space.

Coaching
You'll be a trained coach (or willing to develop) and be able to offer coaching for our clients.

Our leadership development programs (LDP) are coaching based and delivery or co-delivery of LDP and the associated accountability pods for your clients is one of our key products.
