Graduate Chemical Engineer / Application Engineer

This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate chemical or mechanical engineer to work within the fluid handling division of Crane Co.

( a US multinational which specialises in highly engineered products in niche markets exposing you to a high level of responsibility and visibility with exceptional career opportunities for high performers. The role is within Crane ChemPharma and Energy ( who design and manufacture a variety of high performance valves.

Your role as IDV Applications Specialist will be to provide technical expertise by application, identify distinct competitive advantage versus competitors and provide training and education to sales teams and customers.

As well as technical and applications support for sales with direct customer contact you will support to ensure competitive edge by product development and new applications.

This role will test and develop your commercial and business acumen as well as your technical competence.

This is not only a key role for the business but it is a key developmental role within the Crane Co.

group.

It provides an opportunity to acquire a complete understanding of the Company's business, and we are looking for a candidate with the potential, drive and commitment to make a difference, deliver results and grow to become a Crane business leader of the future.

A Degree in Chemical Engineering (or masters/doctorate), you will be graduating in 2024 or have graduated in the last 12 months.

Whilst you may not have any commercial experience you will need a good business understanding. You will be based in Cwmbran, Wales, where the Saunders brand is headquartered but international travel will be required.
