The main purpose of the role is to provide the highest standards of service to both internal and external customers through product range knowledge and proficiency, the preparation of accurate, cost-effective designs which comply with regulations and best practice and the provision of effective technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
The timely and accurate completion of project designs
Liaising with other communities on behalf of the customer on all matters of service such as product quality, performance, accuracy of published product data and stock availability
The ability to design unaided using varied CAD platforms
Specialism in one or more areas, offering support to all functions regarding every aspect of that product range
Meeting design timescales
Attending customer visits and meetings and representing the team, where required
Profile
The person we appoint will be PC literate, a sound communicator across all mediums and possess the ability to remain calm under pressure in order to make balanced, rational decisions which meet both the needs of the business and our customers.
