WE Talent are currently working with a national Insurance organisation in central Essex who are looking for a Finance Director to join their senior management team.

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Director who has previously worked within the Insurance industry.

The role is working on a hybrid basis from their central modern offices, and you will be managing a long standing finance team.

Overall responsibility for financial management within the business and maintain all accounting records accurately

  • Manage relationships between the finance team and external auditors when producing financial statements and annual reports
  • Manage the production of data to create an accurate valuation of company assets to monitor solvency trends, and present this to the board
  • Ensure regular updates across all senior management and board members to facilitate smooth information flow
  • Fulfil legal responsibilities as defined by the Companies Act
  • Organise board meetings, issue agendas, and prepare minutes and financial schedules
  • Safeguard all company and statutory legal documentation
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures through audit activities
  • Continually review and improve company policies, processes, and procedures
  • Implement nonfinancial services regulation to avoid litigation and reputational damage
Fully qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
