Our client seeks an individual who is ACCA or CIMA qualified, possesses strong commercial acumen, and can offer solid commercial leadership. Experience in Facilities Management or related services is also required.

The ideal candidate is currently in a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or Finance Controller role, ready to advance to the next level with the necessary skills and mindset.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the finance team
  • Internal and external payroll
  • Preparing MI reports monthly and quarterly
  • Credit control
  • Developing external relationships
  • Driving the financial planning by analyzing performance and risks
  • Targeting and managing all accounting personnel
  • Overseeing all audit and control operations
  • Forecasting and reporting to management
  • Providing financial and contractual support to the sales team

The ideal candidate will confidently challenge and influence, possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels. Strong leadership and team management skills are a must; the candidate should be capable of developing and mentoring the finance team.

Applicants must have:

  • Considerable post-qualified experience in business finance/performance and accounting & financial control roles
  • Experience in financial accounting, month-end close, working with external auditors, analysis, forecasting, and planning
  • Experience in Facilities Management or related industries
  • Experience with M&A activities, business risk management, external audit, and systems implementations
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams
  • Preferred experience in providing financial support for business deals such as new contracts or M&A
