Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader to lead product management and engineering for Autodesk's Water Infrastructure solutions, including industry leading products like InfoDrainage, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS Pro, InfoWater Pro, and Info360. Collectively these products enable water utilities, municipalities, and engineering service providers to design and make a better world.

Reporting to the VP, Building and Infrastructure Design, you will be leading a product management and engineering organization that is using innovative technologies across a range of products, including cloud-native SaaS and hybrid desktop / cloud applications, with AI/ML capabilities across the portfolio. Internally, this organization is known as the 'Water Lifecycle' team, as its products span the lifecycle, from planning, to design, and into operations.

You'll work with teammates across the globe and will travel up to 30% of the time for face-to-face meetings like conferences, team offsites, and customers. We prefer for this role to be in person in our Irvine, CA, London, UK, or Newbury, UK offices but open to other US locations. Relocation offered.

Ideal Candidate

  • A forward-looking, functionally broad executive who can define a vision and work collaboratively across the organization
  • Someone with a track record of bold moves that transform customer experience and value delivered
  • Someone with a track record for building collaborative, inclusive teams

Responsibilities

  • You will deliver Autodesk Water Infrastructure solutions as cloud and hybrid applications
  • You will lead a global organization of 140 employees/contractors, with major sites in Irvine, CA and Newbury, UK; and distributed people in Mexico, Canada, Australia, and elsewhere
  • You will work closely with Autodesk customers, partners, and internal teams to ensure the products meet our goals
  • You will achieve results through your personal involvement and direct leadership; shared accountability with sales/marketing/strategy for our results (measured by annual contract value, monthly active users, active accounts, customer satisfaction, etc.)
  • You will partner with Industry Strategy to develop Autodesk's strategy for the Water sector, while managing the Product Strategy in support of that overall business strategy
  • You will develop and inspire the team to achieve maximum productivity and optimal creativity
  • You will attract new talent as you develop existing talent to meet the needs of the business
  • You will communicate successes illustrating the business value of delivered capabilities
  • You will work with executive leadership to set expectations and manage risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs inevitable in complex project delivery

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale global product and engineering teams
  • 10+ years of experience creating and implementing organizational strategy, having demonstrated significant organizational impact
  • Insight into the Water Infrastructure sector, including water distribution networks, flood and storm water drainage, and sewer collection systems. Appreciation for the customer scenarios, pain points, personas, etc. across water utilities / municipalities and the engineering service providers.
