Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a HCPC registered *Art Therapist* to work within a specialist *CYP residential* service working from home and visiting sites in Hertfordshire and North London.

This employer provides *therapeutic children's homes* for children and young people who are looked after. They also provide therapeutic support to organisations to help the development of their trauma informed practice.

*The candidate appointed will be joining a new service working with a small group of children's homes in Bedford, Hertfordshire and North London. The essence of the role will be working with external organizations, including schools and educational settings, offering consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training.


The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop this therapy service contributing to the wider company's *centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment*.

*Contract type* - permanent
*Hours* days per week can be considered
*Due to the infancy of this new service, those applying will have experience of working with young people with complex presentations eg a CAMHS, LAC or YOS. Experience is required in therapeutic models such as DBT, CFT, DDP and/or mentalisation based therapy. *Why Shire Healthcare?
