Hawksworth UK has partnered with a leading Global Law firm to seek a Senior Microsoft Security Architect to join their team.

The Senior Microsoft Security Architect will offer technical expertise in designing, implementing, and developing the M365 environment of the firm's. They will be responsible for developing and enforcing policies to safeguard the security and reliability of the firm's M365 applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, architect, and implement a secure M365 environment for the firm.
  • Champion the adoption of Microsoft cloud security technologies within the firm.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft security suite with specialized focus on Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and Defender for Office 365.

The Microsoft Security architect we seek should possess extensive experience in Azure cloud technology and migration to make immediate valuable contributions to the firm's Azure cloud adoption. Additionally, they should demonstrate leadership not only within the security team but across other technical teams in the firm. Familiarity with AWS, GCP, CASB, CSPM, IAM, SIEM, among others, is highly desirable.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Prior experience as a Microsoft Security Architect in a reputable client environment.
  • Strong background in Azure.
  • Experience with Cloud Adoption initiatives.
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Proven track record of managing Microsoft Azure cloud platforms effectively.
  • Some exposure to AWS and/or Google cloud platforms.
  • Preferably holds CCSP and CCSK certifications.
  • Familiarity with CISSP, SSCP, CRISC, or CGEIT is advantageous.
  • Experience as an MS Azure Cloud Architect or Engineer is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) concepts and tools.
  • Thorough understanding of data communications, information systems hardware, software, and design principles including VPN, segmentation, WAF, access control, and CASB.
  • Proficiency in encryption technologies.
