We are looking for a
Head of Risk, Assurance, and Governance to play a vital role in shaping our organisation's approach to risk management and governance.


Reporting to the Director of Assurance, you will work strategically across the organisation, ensuring that our risk and assurance frameworks are continually improving.

As our "Risk and Assurance Specialist," you will provide expert advice and support, ensuring that our policies, procedures, and resources are accessible to all.


Responsibilities:


Lead a dedicated team of risk and assurance professionals at Change Grow Live, supporting our organisation's leadership and teams in enhancing our risk management and assurance practices.


Your role will involve:

  • Guiding the development, implementation, and oversight of Strategic Risk and Assurance Plans, aligning them with our mission, vision, and values.
  • Providing assurance to various stakeholders, including our Board and senior leadership, on the progress and impact of our risk and assurance plans.
  • Embedding an effective approach to risk management across Change Grow Live, ensuring the identification, escalation, mitigation, and reporting of risks at all levels.
  • Ensuring the effectiveness of our assurance frameworks, from service to Board level, to maintain high standards of assurance.
  • Overseeing the development and delivery of risk and assurancerelated learning opportunities for all staff members.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation, including our Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team, to continually review and improve our risk and assurance framework.

To excel in this role:

  • You should have significant experience in senior risk and assurance roles, preferably in a large complex organisation.
  • You should possess relevant professional qualifications and demonstrate strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • Experience in the health and social care sector and familiarity with business assurance frameworks are highly desirable.
  • You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the ability to analyse and present data effectively.
  • A commitment to continual improvement and a collaborative, openminded approach are essential.
