The Nansen Research team is looking for its newest team member to help contribute to exciting quantitative research work at the leading edge of the crypto sector and blockchain technology.

As a Research Analyst at Nansen, you will be a crucial part of a team serving the smartest traders, investors, and project teams in the crypto space.

You will help to produce institutional-quality research reports, and provide data analysis and data visualization using Nansen's proprietary data; Your work will directly drive us towards achieving our mission of surfacing the signal in blockchain data.

Projects span fundamental research on systematic trading signals for cryptocurrencies, the design of economic models for the most prominent chains and protocols in the space, work on advancing Nansen labels, and many other projects.

Nansen is a truly global, remote-first business that empowers world-class talent located anywhere in the world, as our work is 100% online.

For this position, we have decided to focus our search on the EMEA/ Americas regions.
The position is full-time.
Work with Python , SQL, and BigQuery to analyze large amounts of data
Produce institutional-quality fundamental research , in the form of initiation notes and weekly insights for our clients
Research blockchain protocols and understand blockchain projects, with a quantitative and statistical approach, to tease out market insights and address clients' business challenges
Create new dashboards to visualize complex smart contract interactions and communicate findings to end users
Foster and maintain a conducive and collaborative environment for our community, including providing support to Alpha clients
Continuously learn and research the crypto space and crypto markets
Can code fluently in Python and SQL
Hold a Bachelor (or more) in Finance, Statistics, Econometrics, or Mathematics
Are passionate about crypto and financial markets , and are eager to up-skill and hone your knowledge in the crypto space
Direct experience working in a remote-first environment; Have great written and verbal communication skills in English
