We have a great opportunity for an experienced Management Liability Underwriter (MLP) to join the team, focussing on underwriting within the MLP portfolio, to maximise our opportunity for growth and profitability.

Partnering and developing our key strategic and highly valued premier broker accounts, we are looking for a confident and credible individual to make decisions and recommendations to assist in the development and control of profitable underwriting, supporting new and existing opportunities, whilst monitoring the performance of management liability products.

You'll help drive and transform how we partner our broker portfolios, through responsive, flexible, and collaborative relationships.

With a strong balance of technical and trading capability, you'll be empowered to make decisions, supported by data, insight, and decision support tools on mobile technology to succeed.

You'll be focused on developing and delivering profitable growth, across new and existing business within the key markets.

  • A level or equivalent, with a Professional qualification, CII (or similar). CII Diploma in Insurance (minimum), CII Advanced Diploma in Insurance preferable
  • Underwriting and management of individual complex cases, portfolios and schemes
  • Excellent broker relationships and presentation skills
  • Detailed Management Liability product knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal skills


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
